Overview

Teknidata, Ltd. provides engineering and management services to prime contractors for turn key application of large antennas and radio telescope projects. In addition, Teknidata as prime contractor has implemented custom design turn key antennas and radio telescope projects requiring high accuracy and performance.

The Teknidata board of directors voted recently to change Teknidata’s business approach and starting January 2009, Teknidata will only provide engineering and consultant services to prime contractors in the field of Antenna and Radio Telescopes.

In addition the board  took the action to add to our core business by extending our engineering and management capability and experience to solar collector technology for the purpose of developing solar trackers for commercial businesses to reduce their demand for on-line electricity. Our solar energy business is concentrated in solar trackers for commercial building roof application. These solar trackers will be designed to have a low profile for roof top application.

Teknidata will continue to offer engineering services to study feasibility & costs for new generation antennas and radio telescopes utilizing the experience and knowledge of our senior technical staff.


Antenna and Radio Telescope Engineering and Management Services:

Teknidata can provide the following engineering and management services. These services are only applicable to Teknidata produced designs.

  1. Supply to customers (prime contractor) existing antenna and radio
    telescope designs.
  2. Update existing antenna and telescope designs to fit customers
    specifications and requirements.
  3. Produce technical and cost proposal for customers in response to a
    specific tender.
  4. Produce new custom designs for customers; including all the FEA and
    performance analysis.
  5. Produce verifiable cost estimates for construction of a specific antenna
    and radio telescope; including estimates for parts, fabrication, shipping,
    installation and testing.
  6. Produce technical procurement documents and PO instructions for prime
    contractor.
  7. Provide necessary QA documents (factory inspection and test) and
    perform QA functions for procurement, fabrication and installation phases
    of any project.
  8. Produce field acceptance test procedures


Solar Tracker Engineering and Management Services:

Teknidata can provide the following engineering and management services In the
field of solar trackers.

  • Solar tracker designs for contractors involved in alternative energy
    businesses.
  • Solar tracker efficiency analysis.
  • Development of solar tracker concepts and energy saving analysis for
    customers application.
  • Assist prime contractor in developing technical and cost proposals for
    solar trackers.
  • Turn key cost analysis for solar trackers based on Teknidata design.
  • Provide technical and management support to prime contractors during
    fabrication and installation of solar trackers based on Teknidata design.
  • Cost trade off studies for alternate solar tracker designs.
